"Bells & Whistles, but not enough melody" Fierce Curry House had been on my ever-expanding list for over a decade. For some reason or other, I had never managed to make it, despite driving/walking past it numerous times on my jaunts around Bangsar. Today became the day to shrug off the excuses and make a dash (in the ball-busting sun) to sample their curries. Not to appear overly dramatic but it was a letdown. First off, I'll say the food tasted decent. It wasn't amazing but it was decent. The naan was a decided disappointment... Tiny in size and rather raw in the centre. I almost complained but I hate doing so. The curry itself had good flavour, but the price vs the amount of mutton was a problem. Most of the pieces were microscopic and looked like off-cuts for some other dish, and the larger pieces were very fatty. I have heard that they make a decent biryani, so perhaps one day I'll be back to sample that, but for now, there are so many other curry houses in KL that deliver tastier food for a better budget, so I'll stick to those. These recommendations are just personal opinions based on my palate, things change, chefs get fired or replaced, places open-close, relocate, so take it all with a pinch of MSG and discover your own gems too. But please do try a few of these, they have been researched exhaustively.
