"We got the WOK-HEI" Despite cooking on gas (heaven forbid), this stall in Lot 10 is one of the only ones I'd actually return to. Most of the food in Lot 10 is a lesser version of the actual restaurants, run by bored chefs who stare at their phones more than their utensils. However, over at Penang Famous, they cook up a very decent rendition of Kuey Tiao's I enjoyed in Georgetown. Be dangerous and opt for the duck egg if you want extra richness on your dish, and be sure to slap on some nice sambal to spice things up! These recommendations are just personal opinions based on my palate, things change, chefs get fired or replaced, places open-close, relocate, so take it all with a pinch of MSG and discover your own gems too. But please do try a few of these, they have been researched exhaustively.
