"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." The first time I went to Ramen To Biiru was a triumphant failure. The noodles were over-cooked, the egg was over-cooked, the broth was insipid and the meat was odd. Fast forward four years and I finally plucked up the courage to return. All was familiar walking in with the big Japanese noodle vending machine, the glaring neon light and the tables along the window. I ordered the spicy miso (level 3) and sat in a quiet corner. It was raining. Perfect Ramen weather. Behind me a hipster struggled with his chopsticks, keeping me occupied until the bowl arrived. First glance was promising. Though the egg still looked over-cooked (to my taste), the broth looked deeper and more umami-laden. In short: the broth had a good depth to it with a nice hit of spice, the noodles again were sadly over-cooked and so was the egg, but the pork was tender and more flavoursome than I remembered. Overall for the location, price and service it's a fair spot to check out on your intrepid food explorations of Nørrebro. Be like a Dane and arrive by bicycle. Just don't be like a Dane and be an asshole whilst riding one. Pedestrian Lives Matter. These recommendations are just personal opinions based on my palate, things change, chefs get fired or replaced, places open-close, relocate, so take it all with a pinch of MSG and discover your own gems too. But please do try a few of these, they have been researched exhaustively.
